What’s going on here?

Hey! I’m Jake and I have a complex that has led me to start a newsletter. The Completist is about a little bit of everything — style, culture, shopping, whatever else is interesting right now. This is a reflection of my brain, I guess, or maybe my algorithm.

Who are you to do this?

I’ve been in editorial since 2019, and my words have appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Prevention, and Cosmopolitan. You probably know me as a commerce editor at Glamour, where I’m on the fashion beat. I am very good at shopping and I like to think I have good taste — I’ve approved quite a few SSENSE carts and one of my Letterboxd lists has over 200 likes, not to brag.
